Daniel A. Bronk Rochester, New York
Born in Syracuse, NY, Dan joined the firm as Special Counsel in September 2001 to practice professional negligence law, which includes medical, dental, and nursing home malpractice; product liability; and personal injury. He graduated in 1984 from Rochester Institute of Technology with an Associate in Applied Science degree in biology. Dan continued his education at the University of ColoradoBoulder, graduating in 1986 with a bachelor's degree in Biology and English. He attended Vermont Law School, graduated with Juris Doctor degree in 1991. He is admitted to the Connecticut State Bar and the New York State Bar the following year. Over the years, Dan has had a variety of legal experience. He was a law clerk for legal counsel to the Hon. Madeline Kunin, former governor of Vermont and law clerk for the Hon. Frederick Parker, U.S. District Court for the District of Vermont. Later he became a partner in the law firm of Smith, Sovik, Kendrick, and Sugnet, PC, in Syracuse, NY, and was formerly an associate in the law firm of Bower and Gardner in New York City. Dan enjoys spending quality time with his wife Stephanie and their four daughters, and coaching youth sports, including the Rochester Redwings Pee Wee Minor Travel Team, the Perinton Youth Hockey Initiation Program, and Perinton Soccer. He also finds time for his favorite hobbies and sports, which include hockey, mountain biking, cooking, woodworking, reading, movies, boating, and water skiing. Historical figures, particularly Abraham Lincoln, have been and continue to be role models for Dan. Lincoln was a principled man who had the courage to stand up for his convictions despite overwhelming adversity, says Dan. There are very few people today who can live up to those standards.
